Season XI of the Ranked Games has come to a close — and this time, Gene “gene” Kuehneman takes home the crown! After an incredible streak of eight consecutive podium finishes, including silver and bronze medals in previous seasons, Gene finally reached the top and lifted the trophy for the very first time. What a stretch of consistency and determination!
It was also one of the highest-scoring finishes we’ve ever seen — three players broke the 10,000 IBP mark, proving that the fight for the top was fierce.
Right behind the champion, Paul “PearLake58” Sontag continued his rapid rise. After only starting to play actively last season — when he immediately claimed a podium spot in 3rd place — he improved to 2nd this time. There’s just one higher step left… will he climb it in Season XII?
Last season’s winner, Ben “benz” Zeidenberg, once again showed his consistency by keeping his place on the podium in 3rd — a testament to his skill and staying power at the top.
Season XI also introduced two major changes: the shorter season format and the rank drop adjustments, both reshaping the dynamics of the competition.

Interesting Facts from Season XI
☆ Despite the consistently strong performances from familiar names, four new players broke into the Top 10 for the first time. Phil “Ph61” Hernandez from Canada finished 4th, followed by Jonathan “dizzyllama” Rodney of the USA in 6th, another American — Michael Weir — in 9th, and Anja “anjpr” Prestvik from Norway in 10th. Anja also made history as only the second woman ever to reach the Top 10 in the entire history of the Ranked Games.
☆ Ben “benz” Zeidenberg extended his incredible streak with a 9th consecutive Top 10 finish. His impressive record now boasts four bronze medals, two silvers, and one gold!
☆ Gene ‘Gene’ Kuehneman follows closely with his 8th consecutive top-10 finish, and this season he completed his medal collection, adding a gold to the silver and bronze medals from previous seasons.
☆ Bill “RuflRabbit” Segraves achieved his 6th consecutive top 10 finish.
☆ Chris ‘Bosie1’ Bosenberg has now achieved five top-10 finishes in total, including a streak of four consecutive seasons.
☆ Graham ‘Greyboots’ Lucy stayed in the top 10, marking his 2nd consecutive and 3rd overall appearance at the top of Ranked Games.
