Introducing Duels

Duels is our new game mode, and it’s about as simple as bridge competition gets. You and one other player get the same boards. At the end, the score shows who handled them better.

How it works

You partner Lia against two more Lias. Your opponent sits at another table with the same cards and the same robot lineup. With robots in every other seat, the swings come down to the decisions the two of you make.

You can compare results board by board as you play, or wait and see the whole match at the end.

Pick the length and the scoring

A Duel can be 4, 8 or 12 boards, so you can fit one into a short break or settle in for a longer match.

For scoring, choose IMPs or BAM. IMPs reward the big swings, so one game or slam can carry the match. BAM (board-a-match) counts each board as a win, loss or tie, which means a single overtrick can be worth as much as a slam.

Who you play

Duels is a premium feature. Supporter Full and Premium AI subscribers have unlimited access. On a free account or Supporter Lite, the boards you play in Duels come from your boards bank.

Challenge a friend, take on Lia, or play a random IntoBridge player. Send the invite, and once it’s accepted you can both start playing.

Stats and History

Every Duel is saved in your History, so you can go back over the boards later. Stats keeps a record of your results.

Everyone has a bridge friend who’s sure they’d have made it. Now you can find out.
