What you get free, what you don’t, and how to start playing in about a minute.

If you have just found us, welcome. This page tells you exactly where the line is between free and paid on IntoBridge, so you can decide quickly whether it is worth your time.

Casual tables, pairs games and team matches are free and unlimited. That includes setting up your own. No daily limit, no hand count, no card needed to start.

Three modes work differently, and we would rather you heard it from us than found out later. Ranked Games, the Daily Dozen and the Daily Celebrity Challenge run on a board bank. A new account starts with 99 boards to spend across those three however you like. If your bank drops below 25, we top it back up to 25 every Monday. Our paid tiers remove the limit entirely.

That is the whole picture. Here is what the free side looks like in practice.

Play on your own

Sit down whenever you like and play against Lia, our robot, with robot partners or robot opponents. No limit on how much you play.

Just Play seats you instantly at a casual table with three robots if you do not want to wait for anyone.

You can also choose which system your opponents are playing rather than taking whatever the site hands you. If you want to practise defending against a 2 over 1 system or Acol, set it up and play as many hands against it as you want. Lia’s convention cards are all visible in the system picker before you sit down.

Play with friends

Set up a private table and invite your regular partner or your usual foursome. Fill any empty seats with Lia if someone cannot make it, which means a game never depends on getting four people online at the same moment.

Team matches and pairs games can be set up for your own group, free, with no limit on how many you run.

When you sign up you can add your username from other bridge sites to your profile, so that when your regular partners arrive they can find you.

For clubs and organisers

If you run a club, a league or a teaching group, you can set up your own duplicate games and team events and keep your group playing together. Email us at our contact form and we will help you move your schedule across, including setting up your first few sessions with you.

What we are still building

We should be upfront about something. IntoBridge has spent most of its development effort on formats you cannot get elsewhere: the Celebrity Challenge, Lia, playing against a system of your choosing. That means our ordinary casual tables and team games may be missing a convenience feature you are used to somewhere else.

If something you rely on is not here, tell us. We would rather hear it than have you quietly give up on us. We are changing our roadmap based on what people ask for over the next few weeks, and we will report back in this news section on what we have added.

Write to us directly via our contact form. It reaches a real person, usually the same day.

Getting started

Signing up takes one step and needs no payment details. The lobby shows every table currently running, so you can join one straight away.

See you at the table.
