New Tricks Bridge invites you to play a special pairs game on IntoBridge.
This is the final event for the year, and it was preceded by monthly pairs games that were a perk to New Tricks Bridge supporters. The person who did best on average over the last several months won a special prize – partnering the legendary Zia Mahmood. New Tricks Bridge is opening this last game to all bridge lovers and offers a great opportunity to meet and play against Zia.
The player who did best in the qualification games and will partner Zia is Maggie Knottenbelt from London, UK. Apart from being a top-tier supporter of New Tricks Bridge and a frequent online player, Maggie has been very active on the live bridge scene in the last few years, participating in bridge events around the world.
The event will take place this coming Tuesday, the 20th of December, at 1 pm New York, 6 pm London, 7 pm Paris. The game is free of charge and open to anyone. You can even come without a partner and find a match on our Partnership desk, or hosts will be available, so everyone is guaranteed a game.
The pairs game will consist of 18 boards (~2h15min), Swiss movement, and Matchpoints scoring.
